We take pride in offering top quality food services. Nourishing a workforce is a necessity – and today’s workforce demands selection and quality in their meals. Providing your workers with high quality food services is a vital part of sustaining your business operations.
We use only Grade ‘A’ or premium food products. Our menus exceed Health Canada’s nutritional guidelines and Building Trades camp requirements, and offer your workers fl avourful and satisfying dining experiences.
Catering is custom matched to crew size. We provide a dynamic menu and can accommodate any cultural preferences and health requirements. Our menus are rotated on a regular basis, with daily, weekly and monthly menus available for customization. Dining hours are adjusted to accommodate work schedules as required.
Our experience – gained over many years and through serving thousands of guests in camps – has made one thing clear: an unequivocal need for great food. We believe in offering our guests the best and most abundant food services possible. The core of our philosophy is to give guests great food – because great food equals a happy team.
Our on-site teams include a beverage manager and a team of Red Seal journeyman chefs, bakers and first cooks to manage and supervise a team of trained and experienced food service professionals. We ensure the safety of our guests and staff through our Quality Assurance Program and intensive and ongoing food safety training for all our food service workers. Our catering workforce includes qualified camp managers, security personnel, head cooks, chefs, cooks, bakers, general kitchen helpers, laundry attendants, janitors, head housekeepers, and housekeepers.
At Horizon, our philosophy is to apply high standards to every housekeeping detail, no matter how large or small. At the end of a long shift, it is important that workers are able to relax and recharge. Our comprehensive and meticulous approach ensures that our facilities offer a clean, comfortable, and restful environment for our guests. A lodge that is used 24 hours a day, 365 days a year needs great care and attention to stay in top shape. Our housekeeping plan – which covers everything from personnel to cleaning equipment – ensures that all elements needed to maintain a well-ordered and clean facility are in place.
