Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager is a management position reporting to the Site Work & Field Services Division Manager and is accountable to provide a strong project lead role and contract management on assigned projects. This leadership must enhance Northern Trailer’s management approach and profitability through safety, quality, timely and cost effective execution of all Construction Management duties relating to Northern Trailer’s strategic goals, health, safety and environmental commitments. The Senior Project Manager is responsible through all phases of the project. Feasibility, design, estimating, manufacturing, and transport is managed from our main office location in Kamloops, BC.; field installation is managed off-site, at the project location. Travel is a requirement.

Purchaser

Under the general supervision of the Purchasing Manager, the Purchaser will be responsible for a buying a variety of construction and production materials, supplies, tools and equipment.

Rental Manager

General Labourer

The General Labourer is responsible for site cleanliness, and to assist workers in the completion of their duties. This position is active and all encompassing; applicants must be able to safely and comfortably carry out physically involved activities. Carpenter

The Carpenter is responsible for the construction, installation, and repair of structures and components of portable buildings that are made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials. This position is an active and all-encompassing one, so applicants must be able to safely and comfortably carry out physically involved activities. Cabinet Maker

The Cabinet Maker is responsible for the construction, installation, and repair of all cabinets and similar building projects for portable buildings. Detailer

The Detailer is responsible for the general cleaning of new manufactured and refurbished portable buildings, as well as general plant, lunchroom and washroom facility cleaning. This is a safety sensitive position, and as such, requires pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

Electrician

The Electrician is responsible in the installation of the electrical components of constructed and/or assembly of temporary and permanent buildings, additions, partitions and wood structured fixtures according to electrical scopes and prints.
