The Quality Control Inspector will work under the direction of the Quality Control Manager and will be accountable for monitoring the quality of manufactured products. This is a full time position available at the head office in Kamloops, BC.
Responsibilities:
- Providing thorough quality checks on all manufactured and reconditioned modular building products
- Responsible for seeing that the Quality Assurance Program is fully utilized.
- Responsible for inspecting components and assemblies and ensuring those non-acceptable items are successfully repaired.
- Responsible for seeing that necessary paper work is properly completed.
- Other opportunities as required.
Experience Required:
- Experience in a modular building and/or framing and finishing trades will be an asset.
- Applicants must possess experience in wood frame building technology in the commercial/industrial, factory building, modular and/or residential housing sectors.
- Experience in at least one trade area (Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing) and knowledge of the other two is required.
- Familiar with using codebooks.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong communication skills,
- Must have strong organizational, time-management and decision making skills
- Able to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines
- Able to work independently and as a team member in a fast paced, deadline driven environment is essential
