Responsibilities: The Sawyer (Lumber Cutter) will be responsible for the cutting and measuring of lumber to specific dimensions. This individual will work under the direction of the Department Supervisor and carry out the various duties related to this position. This is a full-time position available at the new manufacturing facility in Kamloops, BC.
Experience Required: The preferred candidate will have previous experience as a Sawyer. Knowledge of the modular building industry is an asset.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will demonstrate organizational, time-management and decision making skills. This individual must be able to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines. The ability to work independently and as a team member is essential. This position is an active and all-encompassing one, so applicants should be able to safely and comfortably carry out physically involved activities.
