Responsibilities: The Shop Janitor will be responsible for keeping the shop clean. Duties include operating an industrial vacuum cleaner, emptying refuse containers and other general cleaning duties. This individual will work under the direction of the Department Supervisor and carry out the various duties related to this position. This is a full-time position available at the new manufacturing facility in Kamloops, BC.
Experience Required: Previous experience as a Shop Janitor in an industrial setting is an asset.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will demonstrate organizational, time-management and decision making skills. This individual must have the ability to effectively manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. This position is an active and all-encompassing one, so applicants should be able to safely and comfortably carry out physically involved activities.
